Brick Repointing

Purpose: 

Brick repointing is the process of renewing the outer portion of mortar joints in brickwork. Over time, the mortar between bricks can degrade due to weathering, moisture, or other environmental factors, leaving gaps for water, pests, and air to enter. Repointing also helps to restore the structural integrity and appearance of the brickwork. Repointing should be done when there are visible cracks or gaps in the mortar, if there are damp patches on interior walls, or if bricks are loose.
